纽约上诉法院

纽约上诉法院（New York Court of Appeals）是纽约州法院系统中的终审法院。 法院位于纽约州首府奥尔巴尼，有首席法官1名，法官6名。上诉法院有关纽约州法律的判决是终审，不可继续上诉；但有关联邦法律的案件或部分如果被允许，仍然可以上诉到美国最高法院。

受理案件

纽约州宪法第6条第3款规定了受理案件的范围：涉及法律问题的案件；死刑判决案件；中间上诉法院（上诉部门）在审理上诉案件时发现了新的事实后根据新事实作出判决的案件。
